The cagenews.com crew hammered out two more lists in our quest to find Utah’s very best. This week it’s the light heavyweights and the little guys, the 145 pound devils. Once again the lists are loaded from top to bottom with prime talent.

205 Light Heavyweights

1. Ben Fuimoano

2. Hank Weiss

3. Jordan Smith

4. Sean O’Connell

5. Cole Rose

Fortunately for our staff, this list didn’t take much debate. All of these fighters are currently active and ready to fight it out to either claim their rightful spot or cement their current standing.

145 Featherweights

1. Steve Siler

2. Travis Marx

3. Camrann Pacheco

4. Lance Gorman

5. Casey Beckstead

Another testament to the level of MMA in Utah, most of these guys could be competitive against the best from anywhere. The list is solid as is, but cagenews.com insiders predict a meteoric rise by the exciting number 3 on our list. Camerann Pacheco.

I guess they will have to redo this list now that Jordan added the Maniac to his list of opponents defeated in the first round.

When tabascodan compliments your fighting abilities(Cam), there is not much better compliment you can get! Tabascodan knows more about MMA than Minisleave knows about Sleavehead, and that is saying a lot!

On the radio show yesterday Rob Handley mentioned Cam didn't know any fighting before he started training at Absolute, I think that speaks volume for what a good gym can do for you!

Cam is the epitomy of what makes an mma purist love an mma fight. Alot of guys can fight at 100mph but guys that can fight at 100mph with technical precision (like cam) are few and far between.

I agree.

Camrann Pacheco is by leaps and bounds the best 145lb. MMA fighter in Utah. He hasn't had the chance to show what he can do because of the tanasity at which he fights and the quickness at which he finish's his opponents. Everyone will eventually get there chance to see him fight in do time, but if you have doubts go to the Absolute MMA myspace page and watch the videos and you'll see what the buzz is about!

Oliver Bradstreet was tough to rank because we were not sure if he would still be fighting in Utah and if he should be ranked at the 135 pound weight class or something else. We tried to rank fighters in the weight class they are currently going to be fighting in. Ty Lee has already changed weight classes accepting to fight Ben Fuimano on Horns Fight Night August 23rd.

Good point about Olly. I dont think he beats Travis or Camrann though. I think they have Siler at #1 because of his last few wins over John Sharp and Travis.

from what I've seen Camrann is a vicious striker and Siler has some slick submissions so it would definatly be an interesting and entertaining fight, it could go either way im not sure how good Camrann's take down defense is, Gorman didnt really attempt too many takedowns on him but Camrann's striking and chin were awesome. Siler is very slick with submissions though I can see him coming up with a submission his striking game is good but from what i've seen Camrann's looked better and a lot more vicious. I would say Camrann "Ape Shit" Pacheco lol by 2nd Round TKO 3:01 but again I wouldnt be surprised to see Siler pull off the win and not doubting him at all he had one hell of an upset over T-Train.
